Transfers, once again

We didn’t do anything for Easter,
just ate some of my Christmas candy (:

There were transfers this week!

I’m staying in my area. A Peruvian is going to be my companion. He’s from
Chiclayo. He has about 14 months in the mission.

My companion, Elder Smedly, got transferred to another part of Arequipa. He
has a new assignment. He is going to go work in the Family History Center
every other day.

We’re thinking I’ll have 1 transfer with my new companion, Elder Araujo,
and then go somewhere else to finish my last 2 transfers. I only have 3
transfers left in the mission!! It’s gone by really, really fast. Crazy to
think I’m almost done.

This week, for Easter, we didn’t do anything. We just ate some of the
Christmas candy I just recently got in the mail.

The Cruz family is progressing well. We’re thinking about having baptisms
April 16. We’ll see if everything works out. They all came to Church again
yesterday! Even their older sister who is very Catholic.

I’m also now a District Leader instead of a Zone Leader. Our Zone got
combined with another Zone, so there’s only 1 set of Zone Leaders now. It
looks like I’m going to have 4 or 6 other people in my district. We’ll see
how it goes. I think that after being a Zone Leader I’ll be able to be a
better District Leader because I know what the Zone Leaders expect, what
they want, what they don’t want, etc. I’m excited to be able to help out
the missionaries in my district.

I hope everything is going well at home! Hope you all have a great week!
