About Me

Mission PhotoI am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am serving a mission for my church in the Arequipa, PerĂº mission. I will be gone from August 2012 – August 2016.

I am the second oldest of six kids, and I love my family. I enjoy riding my longboard, doing Parkour, and writing computer programs. When I return from my mission, I plan to continue my schooling at BYU and work towards my degree in Computer Science.

My Testimony

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth. It has the fullness of the Gospel restored to it. I love my family so much, and I am so happy to know that I get to live with them forever. That’s one of the many great blessings that the Church brings, and I am excited to share that knowledge I have with the people in Peru.

I know that the Book of Mormon is true. There is no way that a young man with very little schooling could have written such a powerful book. I have prayed about it, asking God if it is true. He answered my prayer, and I know that it is true. I know that our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He loves us so much and wants us to be happy. He has given us prophets and apostles to help guide us as we are deciding how to live in this ever changing world.

I know that my mission will be hard and difficult, but I know it will be worth it. I am looking forward to growing and learning so much about the Gospel. I am exciting to share the source of happiness that I have with those that are struggling to find peace and joy. I want to help people find Jesus Christ and feel of the love that He has for each and every one of us. I have felt that love in my life, and I don’t know where I would be without it.

It will be hard to leave my family, but I know that leaving my family for 2 years so others can live with their families forever is worth the sacrifice.
