Another great week has gone
by. This week we have 2 baptisms lined up for Saturday! We also have our
Stake Conference this week. It’ll be good to hear from and learn from the
stake leaders here.
This week I saw, once again, that the Lord really does help and guide us as
missionaries, and we often don’t realize it. We went to visit a family that
is going through some hard times right now. Their dad is sick with cancer,
and they’re worrying about him a lot. We decided to pass by and visit them
to try to cheer them up a little bit. They let us come in and we started to
talk. The dad told us that just that morning, his daughters were asking
him, “When are the missionaries going to come? They haven’t visited us for
a while.” And that same day, we happen to come by. The Lord knew that they
were going to need a visit. That they were going to be looking for us. He
let us know the night before when we were planning our visits for the day.
I didn’t realize it that night, but that day during the visit I knew that
the Lord was guiding us and using us to help his children. I’m grateful for
this time that I have to serve as an instrument in the hands of the Lord. I
know that this Church is true. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. As we
read and study it, we will find peace, guidance, and answers to the
questions that we have in life.
I hope everyone has a great week!
