We had transfers this week! And
I’m still here in Chviay, which means the branch is going to stay open
for a time! Next week, our new branch president is going to be set
apart. My companion is going to stay here and finish his mission here.
We’re also getting 1 new Elder who’s coming from the office.
During the week, we had our Tuesday District Meeting. Thursday Weekly
Planning Meeting. Thursday Afternoon Branch Presidency Meeting. Friday
English Class. Friday Morning Seminary and Institue Meeting. Saturday
Seminary. Saturday Afternoon Cleaning the Chruch. Sunday Morning
Church. Sunday Afternoon Mission Prep. Sunday Night Branch Counsel.
We’re always busy.
Having a branch president should help a lot here in the branch. The
members will have someone to trust in and who’s always here to help
them. And he’ll probably have more time than us, and certainly more
flexibility. (We can’t really go out and give someone a blessing when
they need it at midnight).
We went to a buffet this week, which was fun. It was expensive, but we
didn’t have to pay because we went with one of President Zobrist’s
counselors. It was nothing like back home, but it was good. I’ll
certainly enjoy going to the Green Valley buffet again, though, once I
finish.
We were in a trio since Tuesday because Elder Pulido left and finished
his mission. It was different. A little annoying at times that we
weren’t getting more stuff done because we couldn’t separate, but lots
of fun at times, too, just making jokes together and everything.
The mission is keeping me super busy. I’m learning a lot, though. I’m
also enjoying my time here. I hope everyone is doing well back at
home! Bye!
